Our Produce
Our farm consists of over
100 acres of cropland dedicated strictly to fruits and vegetables.
The Sweetest of Sweet Corn
Sweet corn is picked rain or shine, EVERY
MORNING. This ensures the highest sugar content possible.
Sweet corn is available from early July through early October.
Apples
Of the 23 varieties of the apples we grow,
the earliest varieties are picked early to mid-July. The apple
harvest continues on through the fall. Our apples are sold in our market through mid February.
Click here for more information about our apples.
Apple Cider
Our Apple Cider has been gaining a new
popularity as of late. Using just the right blend of our own
hand-picked apples gives our cider an exquisite taste that wakes up the
taste buds. We use ultraviolet technology as an alternative to heat
pasteurization. This ensures the elimination of any potential
contamination without damaging the natural taste and aromas that can be
lost during a heat pasteurization process. Apple Cider is available
from September through mid-February.
Peaches, Nectarines, Plums
Over 15 varieties are grown here and based
on good growing conditions they are available from mid-July through early
September. You haven't had a truly great peach until you sink your
teeth into a tree-ripened Shenot Peach. "They ain't no good unless
the juices run down your chin".
Tomatoes
Our earliest planting of tomatoes are set in
the field under row covers early in the season, keeping them protected
from frost. This planting is usually ready to pick around early July
- depending on the moon phases. All of our tomatoes are vine ripened
and are available well into October
